IU High School Online offers discounted tuition to university employees

IU High School Online is a private, accredited online high school offered by Indiana University, and eligible IU employees and their dependents receive a  25% waiver off course tuition.

The waiver does not apply to course fees.

IU High School Online’s administrative offices are situated on the Bloomington campus, and the school serves the needs of students and families seeking an online course or diploma.

Whether students are training for athletics, performing in the arts, traveling or simply wanting to give online classes a try, IU High School has a place for them.

IUHS offers two enrollment options: diploma or supplemental. Diploma students are given the choice of three different diploma tracks focused on college prep, general education and academic honors. Supplemental students apply IUHS courses to their own school’s graduation requirements.

Tuition is charged on a course-by-course basis with each individual course costing $231. Mandatory fees are charged on a similar basis, costing $60 per course. The cost of textbooks varies with books being available through the IU bookstore or third-party retailers.

Those with questions or inquiries may reach out to IUHS Principal Rebecca Itow at rcitow@indiana.edu or assistant principal Elizabeth Wright at eliaruss@iu.edu.
