In true Indy tradition, fireworks will light up downtown in celebration of Independence Day. The Downtown Indianapolis 4th of July Fireworks will be launched from the 500 N. Meridian St. building, and there are three spots on campus where you can get a great view:

  • Blackford Garage: Park your car and enjoy one of the best views from the top deck of the Blackford Garage.
  • Wood Fountain Plaza and Courtyard: Grab a chair or hang a hammock to watch the show from the courtyard.
  • Lawn outside Herron: View the fireworks with a canal view behind the Herron School of Art and Design near Blackford Street.

The campus does not permit fireworks on campus or cooking out.
